L’article aborde la question de la coopération entre les pays turcophones du point de vue de la politique étrangère de l’Azerbaïdjan. Les auteurs cherchent à montrer la nature de ce partenariat et à comprendre si celui-ci est motivé par leurs affinités culturelles, historiques et linguistiques, ou bien s’il s’agit de la convergence d’intérêts sur certains domaines précis. A cette fin, les enjeux pour chaque pays ainsi que leurs intérêts nationaux sont présentés et analysés pour tenter d’apporter des éléments de réponse à cette interrogation. La question de la coopération dans le domaine énergétique est tout particulièrement étudiée et fait l’objet de la troisième partie de l’article, car elle occupe une place essentielle dans le partenariat des pays turcophones et a une implication très forte non seulement pour eux mais aussi pour les puissances présentes dans la région, telles que les Etats-Unis, la Russie, l’Union Européenne et la Chine.
The article approaches the issue of cooperation between the Turkic speaking countries from the Azerbaijani foreign policy’s standpoint. The authors attempt to show the nature of this partnership and to understand if it is caused by the cultural, historical and linguistic affinities of these countries or by the real convergence of interests in the certain spheres. The implications for each country as well as their national interests are presented and analysed to try to give an answer to this question. A particular attention is paid in the third part to the issue of cooperation in the energetic sphere since this matter plays an important role in the partnership between Turkic speaking countries and has a strong implication not only for these countries but also for the powers present in the region such as the United States, Russia, the European Union and China.
